Sea Port .
In the development of port China & GDA has carried out very important role. Phase1 of Gwadar port which costs USD 298 million has been completed with the assistance of Chinese Govt. 2nd Phase which cost 865 million shall complete by 2010. Chinese Govt has shared 80% of the total cost for the construction of sea port, the port has been inaugurated by President of Pakistan on 20th March 2007.
The construction of the port has spurred other major infrastructure projects in the area and from the 23rd March 07 it will be operational of portto SPO (Singapore port operator) for 25 years on Feb 07 and declared as a duty free port for the next 40 years.

Road Network.
NHA constructed 700 km road named Markran Coastal Highway. This road links Karachi with several other cities alongwith Ormara, Pasni, Gwadar.The highway has reduced travel time to Karachi from 48 hours to only 7 hours. Other road project includes Gwadar-Iran motorway, Gwadar will automatically connect with Middle East and Europe as Iran already have operative road and railway network with all connecting countries |

.Railway Network.
Govt. of Pakistan is focusing on laying the Havelian-Kashghar (China) and Quetta-Kandahar (Afghanistan) railway tracks. Ministry announced that Gwadar will be connected to Pakistan Railway network at the cost of $ 1.25 billion. |

Gwadar International Airport.
China is also building International Airport in Gwadar which will be completed in 2009.
The construction work of the new airport has been started by JAN 2007 and it will be operational by the year 2009. |
